Despite the political hullabaloos, Cagayan de Oro’s economy remains unfazed. Throughout these years, from violet to yellow, Cagayan de Oro has maintained its status as one of the most competitive cities in the Philippines.
Constructions of shopping malls and high-rise towers are ongoing. High-end retail stores and food establishments are everywhere jam-packed with people.
Who would have thought that Mindanao, an island stereotyped as war zone has a city with a wide range of car dealerships like BMW, Peugeot, Mahindra, Chevrolet and Subaru. Exclusive villages are sprouting like Alegria Hills of Ayala Land Premiere.
It’s a fast growing metropolis, a city on the go, with people enjoying richness and affluence. With an ever changing skyline and cityscape, indeed, the Philippines has a rising star… Cagayan de Oro.
