Apple Tree Resort & Hotel recently unveiled what is going to be a pillar of the resort hotel industry in Misamis Oriental and Northern Mindanao.
On a breezy Sunday evening of February 1, Apple Tree celebrated their anniversary and revealed to the public a revitalized brand that has already served Northern Mindanao for 17 years, ten as Lauremar Beach Resort and seven as Apple Tree.
The need for rebranding came after assessing the need to strengthen Apple Tree’s viability in the tourism industry. Part of the changes involved is the careful restructuring of the resort-hotel’s offers specifically rates and inclusions. This is to best suit the needs of its target markets in the travel and corporate sectors.
“We are rebranding to stay in pace in this highly-competitive service industry. Expectations are higher because Cagayan de Oro can offer more, and we are up to the challenge,” says Apple Tree General Manager Bjanesha Manigsaca-Emphasis.
“This is our way of making a mark in the tourism industry and being one with the Department of Tourism, whose goals we support with passion”, Bjanesha Emphasis continues.
It is Apple Tree’s answer to the evolution of the tourism landscape in Northern Mindanao.
Redefining its values: life, renewal and energy along with the compassion, nurturing and love, Apple Tree brings forth new visuals in green and pink, the resort-hotel’s new official colors. The freshness and healing power of Apple Tree is well-represented by a new logo comprised of a healthy, growing leaf within a circle, the symbol of eternity.
Ms Emphasis reveals “On top of all that is an Apple Tree classic, our signature, what we have become known for, the guarantee of superb service built on genuine and sincere care, we define once more, and take to the front, values that we have upheld, life, renewal, and energy – embodied by the color green and is underlined, by the compassion, nurturing and love – signified by the color pink”.
One constant remains, the Apple Tree’s guarantee of superb service built on genuine and sincere care.
The special occasion also revealed the management and staff’s new look, Ms Emphasis said as she presented the Apple Tree staff to the public, “May I proudly present our uniform! Our company color is complemented by the color blue; representing the ocean. We accented it with the Langkit; handwoven by the women of the Maranao tribe. This is our way of supporting the diverse Filipino culture”.
