Litrato: Ultra Winds Mountain Resort

I visited Ultra Winds Mountain Resort for the first time last Sunday with my family. This place took my breath away….

Located in Baungon, Bukidnon, Ultra Winds is actually just 20 minutes away from downtown CDO. If you intend to go there with your own private car, well let me just inform you that the road going there is quite steep but definitely not rough.

Once you arrive there, you will be asked to pay P100 entrance fee but consumable. I noticed that there are rooms there for an overnight stay for as low as P1900. There are exciting amenities too like zip line. I wasn’t able to check and take photos of these amenities because I was already deeply engrossed by its grand balcony.

The panoramic view taken from their balcony

Ultra Winds gave me an awe-inspiring panoramic view of Cagayan de Oro. It was around 5pm already and the sun was about to set. The lush greens, the silhouette from the dusk and the cool breeze of fresh air gave me an instant relaxing feeling. I wanted to capture the moment that I took as many selfies and groupies as I can.

When it was finally dark, the dinner was served. A minor flaw that I saw was there were only few waiters serving diners. It took sometime before our order was served. But apart from that, everything else went smoothly. While eating, I couldn’t help but appreciate the view. If you want to have a romantic and intimate dinner with your special someone, this is definitely the place to be.

When it is all dark and appetizing

There you go folks! If you want a place that can give you solace and an impressive view of Cagayan de Oro, try Ultra Winds Mountain Resort. Set your gears and go towards the direction of Aluba and Taguanao. It is actually just a few distance away from Cagayan de Oro International Convention Center and Nanuri International School. They also have a shuttle service. For more information, visit their Facebook page here.
