The long wait is almost over as runway lights are now installed at Laguindingan Airport. Recently, a test run was conducted to ensure that everything is working perfectly.
It was announced that the installation of navigational instruments at this airport are expected to be completed in November this year. If materialized then Laguindingan Airport can start accommodating night flights which will then make travelling to and from Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao easier and more flexible. These precision instruments are also essential for a safe landing and take-off during worse weather conditions.
