The Cagayan de Oro Rugby Football Club headed by Coach Noel Villa has made its first year anniversary celebration more meaningful by organizing a party for less fortunate kids of BoysTown last September 13. This event was made more possible through the generosity of Primavera Residences that provided the venue.
There were 25 children aged 5 to 17 that joined the Jollibee kiddie party who at the same time got the chance to experience rugby sports therapy. It was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Primavera Residences Tower A.
These kids also received gifts from various sponsors like Primavera Residences which handed out dental and hygiene kits.
Italpinas (the developer of Primavera Residences) CEO Architect Romulo Nati graced the event. Mr. Renato Pepito who is the head of a volunteer group named Child Protection Brigade was also present.
Cagayan de Oro Rugby Club is composed of sports-minded individuals who primarily share a common interest in rugby. They are the first rugby club in the city. They recently won in the First Philippine National Games 2014 Shield Division.
