CDO, Like Nothing Has Changed

While Cagayan de Oro is experiencing unprecedented growth in decades, changing the city’s landscape over time, majority of what makes the city the City of Golden Friendship still remains. Leisurely strolls in Divisoria or Gaston Park, or quaint church afternoons at Cathedral or busy market trips at Cogon encapsulate the Kagay-anon experience as it was a few years back.

In this picture, the growing city skyline sits in the background as coastal Kagay-anons enjoy the golden sunset, while picking clams and seashells in the receding shoreline. This is one of the testaments that no matter how evolved a city is, the beauty of it still remains intact through the people who enjoys living in it.
