While in and on top of Primavera Residences, you can see a great vantage point of different parts of the city. Views from downtown, east uptown (Indahag, Macasandig, Taguanao, and parts of Pualas, Bukidnon) and west uptown (Upper Balulang, Lumbia, and parts of Talakag and Maasin, Bukidnon), and even Canitoan to as far west as Iponan and Opol are visible from the building. Let’s take a look:
The Macajalar Bay serves as a backdrop to the busy port of Cagayan de Oro and the congested downtown. Good thing we still see a few greens around:
Cagayan de Oro’s leader in tall structures and the beacon of Northern Mindanao, Limketkai Luxe Hotel, defines the skyline. G Galyx Hotel is starting to define the skyline as well. Two growth areas are seen here as well, the Limketkai Center, and the upcoming Paseo del Rio. Two universities (XU, MUST) are also seen here.
The Cagayan de Oro River, which holds significant amount of good and bad history, is still a beauty to behold. Maharlika Bridge is seen at center.
CEPALCO’s Green Building, in front of Xavier Estates, is now being completed and will soon be one of the showcases of the city’s growing love for alternative energy. The valleys of Western Bukidnon, which is a passageway for Cagayan de Oro River, serves as a beautiful backdrop:
At east uptown, bordering Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon, the Convention Center sits idle, overlooking the city. On top is the city’s newest attraction, the Ultra Winds Mountain Resort. While technically it is part of Pualas, Bukidnon, its close proximity to the city makes it an increasingly popular place for Kagay-anons seeking a quick getaway from the noisy city.
Uptown Cagayan de Oro holds a lot of hidden beauties on its own. A jog around Pueblo Business Park gives you a healthy body plus fresh air from the trees that dot the landscape. A few steps away to different locations (even just driving or riding towards uptown) and you are guaranteed different great views of the city. Uptown truly is a well-deserved expansion of Cagayan de Oro City.
