This was once a peaceful place covered with tall grasses and trees. Then in the 1990s, real estate companies started to develop its verdant plains. Subdivisions started to pop up like mushrooms. It has become a play ground of golfers with Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club designed by world renowned Robert Trent Jones II. Then in early 2000, business establishments started to accelerate in this area with the entry of SM City. Famous schools have put up their campuses here like Xavier University, Corpus Christi School, and the upcoming Georgia International School. More and more business establishments have opened, most of them are high-end brands like BMW, Peugeot, and Rustan’s Wellcome Supermarket. Lastly, its skyline has been rapidly changing. From subdivisions, it is now the home of mid-rise condominiums like Uptown Condotel, Koresco Condominiums, GranVia Suites, and the eco-friendly Primavera Residences. It has broken its silence and it came to the investment scene like a wrecking ball… the roaring and fast changing UPTOWN CAGAYAN DE ORO.
