This was Don Gregorio Pelaez Sports Complex taken last November 20, 2010. It is notable that the rubber mats was still intact and smooth. Sadly, we no longer see this today.
What is seen today are cracked and dilapidated rubber mats. Each person who wishes to use the track and field has to pay P15. Before, it was around P30. As a person who jogs there, I can’t help but ask. Where does the money go?
I am concerned about the current condition of the rubber mats at Pelaez Sports Complex. I almost stumbled there one time due to those cracked rubber flooring. This poses a threat to all runners there. I just hope that the Provincial Government would do something about it before anything fatal happens.
