Do you remember the wooden boardwalk at the coast of Opol, fronting the market/municipal hall? It was a favorite hangout place for Opol and Cagayan de Oro residents until it was closed down due to risks and disrepair. A new project is rising soon however, an integrated boardwalk and food plaza which capitalizes on the growing trend of restaurants in the area. It will be a great hangout place for people who love the enjoy the sea breeze while with barkadas munching on their favorite treats. If successful enough, this can even steal the thunder of the defunct Night Cafe, which in itself was famous for foods galore. A big plus, is its place in the waterfront.
What do you think of this project? Will it boom or is it doomed? Share your thoughts on the comments. 😀
