Cinema Rehiyon, NCCA’s National Cinema Festival, kicks off in the City of Golden Friendship on February 19. The list of films that will be shown throughout the festival have been announced:
Most notable among the Mindanao Entries is “Ika-3 Putahi” by Joe Bacus (Professional Category), which is the Best Short Film in the recently concluded Cinemagis 6, as well as “Wa Ko Kakita” by Eastine Charles Paneo (Student Category). “Ang Walay Kahumanang Adlaw” is a thesis film by Glenn Mark Doromal, former winner of Cinemagis who was given a film scholarship at De La Salle-College of St Benilde.
