As with every year since time immemorial, Cepalco has taken the task of lighting a big Christmas spectacle in Divisoria. This year, it’s a well adorned and very bright Christmas tree, which, I’ve been told, is a musical tree. It’s strategically placed, too, as the area near the JR Borja statue receives good traffic (and it looks like JR Borja himself is enjoying the view).
Meanwhile, the city government has taken the task of lighting up the rest of the stretch of the park from Capistrano to Corrales. Here we see yellow spherical lights hanging down from trees like fruits, while a series of lights stretch downward. The Kiosko Kagawasan is lined with lights around, which gives off a nostalgic celebratory spanish-style mood.
Watch out for the next part of this series, A Bright Christmas in CDO. 🙂
