It’s Oktoberfest. And if there was that place that used to be Cagayan de Oro’s ultimate party place, it was Rosario Arcade. Way back college years, me and my friends spent our nightlife either in Macumba or Ghana.
Even until this year, Rosario Arcade was still filled with party crowds until the July 26 bombing. The used to be hotspot for dining, drinking, and clubbing was tarnished by heartless terrorists.
According to Ms. Ria Ledesma, the manager of Limketkai Mall, there are plans to convert this area of Rosario Arcade into a multi-level parking facility. If pushed through then we have to say good bye to the old Rosario Strip filled with joys and laughter. Indeed, some good things never last….
