CDO slides down to 10th place in Philippine Gems

It is seven days more to go before voting is over. From 6th spot, Cagayan de Oro is now on the 10th spot in the Philippines’ top emerging gems. The voting is extended until September 15.

Philippine Gems aims to showcase the country’s top beautiful spots especially those that have pristine natural sceneries. This is a corporate project of Isla Lipana, know more about them here.

From top 25, only the top 10 will have the privilege of free promotion but the highlight goes to the rank one. This promotion will then entice more foreign and local tourists to visit the top 10 emerging gems in the Philippines.

For Northern Mindanao, only Cagayan de Oro and Camiguin were selected by a panel of judges composed of a team from Isla Lipana and top travel bloggers. In order to be shortlisted, a site has to be breathtaking, be in good condition, be peaceful and secure, and be accessible. Camiguin is currently in 8th place.

Kagayanons, let us support our city and the island of Camiguin. You may vote for at least three sites, a maximum of 10. All you need is a valid e-mail address or Facebook account.
