What motivated you to join Miss Cagayan de Oro 2013?
I am motivated to join Miss Cagayan de Oro 2013 because I want to use the pageant as my platform and tool to motivate the Kagay-anons to join me in my advocacy on the preservation and conservation of our environment to make our city a more beautiful place to live and attractive to visitors and investors.
Who do you look up to as your role model and why?
I consider Mother Theresa of Calcutta, India as one of my role models due to her love and concern for the poor and neglected people. However, I look up to my own mom as my role model because she is the epitome of love and dedication and real woman having brought me and my three brothers to this beautiful world and raised me to become who I am today – humble and respectful. Without my mom I would not be in front of you. Just like the rest of the mothers of the world, they are worthy as role models.
What endearing qualities you have which is unique about you?
I believe that my being honest and friendly are the unique qualities I possess which endear me to all the people I met. Being honest allows me to get the trust of people and being friendly relates to the true meaning of my being a real Kagay-anon who believes that Cagayan de Oro is the City of Golden Friendship.
What makes Cagayan de oro the most beautiful city for you?
Cagayan de Oro is the most beautiful city for me because it is the city of my birth, the city I love most and above all the Kagay-anons know the true meaning of the slogan – Cagayan de Oro City: the City of Golden Friendship – which can be shown in their warm smiles and their ability to rise from any tragedy that struck them.
If crowned Miss Cagayan de Oro 2013, how will you make your reign memorable?
If given the chance to be crowned Miss Cagayan de Oro 2013 I will use my crown as my tool to motivate the Kagay-anons to join me in my advocacy on the preservation and conservation of our environment to make our city a more beautiful place to live and attractive to visitors and investors.
What are the top 3 problems of Cagayan de Oro that needs to be addressed right away by the new City Mayor Oca Moreno?
Improvements are already visible on the first few days of the Moreno administration. I suggest that the Honorable Mayor addresses first, the traffic problem. Second is the garbage problem which poses danger to the health and living conditions of the residents and visitors and third the acts of snatching and robbery which if left unsolved could affect the economy and the progress of our city.
What do you dream to become someday?
Honestly speaking I dream of becoming a flight attendant and an ambassadress of our City and the Philippines. By being a flight attendant I would be able to travel to different places and learn different cultures and at the same time promote and inform the citizens of other countries about the beauty of our city and the Philippines.
