Aaaand we have updates!
We roamed around the ongoing constructions at the CM Recto-LKK Area and we have a lot to show you!
Let’s start off with MUST’s 8-storey Engineering Complex. It is currently at the third level, and the first level looks high because of the elevated base, similar to the Science Complex construction. The gate is on the left most portion, right beside the LKK overpass.
A great Vantage Point: Taken at the MUST Science Complex, this shot showcases the bustling and growing area dotted with construction work.
Let’s go now to the entrance of the Limketkai Area. The Shakey’s standalone store is almost ready for operations. The exterior is looking great!
At a distance, Tune is getting ready for opening:
Moving on, Limketkai Hotel’s ground floor is showing its grand facade, with yellow tinted glasses installed all around:
While the twin (taller) tower is shaping up:
Behind Shakey’s the metal trusses of Puregold are almost done.
Meanwhile, Coca-Cola Plant in Osmeña St. is gradually being demolished to give way to the long rumored SM Downtown.
This next one is quite a surprise: if you are familiar with Limketkai Mall’s closed, lighted hallways, they’re adding glass-wall hallways for the “green lane”, a strip leading to the parking building and (rumored) hypermarket. It has a similar effect to the hallway leading to Grand Caprice, but facing the parking lot which is dotted with trees, hence the name. This is exciting!
