A few months back, we have seen a future redevelopment plan of the MUST Campus at Lapasan, and even one for the Alubijid Campus. Now, MUST has posted the new revisions of the plan. As seen above, the ongoing construction of the Engineering Complex (lower right) will move the campus entrance to the center portion of the campus facade, just beside the Limketkai overpass. Also seen here is the complete disappearance of the open fields which used to be the campus oval, and is replaced with a wide parking lot. An unannounced (yet) building is shown at the back of the Engineering Complex, while at the far top is the previously announced Campus Residences, which will replace the dilapidated and already too small dormitory. Also noticeable here is the new form of the IEP Building (locally dubbed as the “sinking” building because if its infamous location), which is currently being used as the temporary main gate.
The MUST Gym is also very near to completion, and in this rate, it will be usable in the opening of the School Year 2013-2014.
Not related to MUST, but very close, is the Tune Hotel which has recently started test painting the building. They are now proudly raising their banner, saying “CDO’s newest International Hotel is opening soon”. Indeed a sight to see and an event to watch out for!
