Lumbia Airport’s operation is back to normal. This information came from Lino Lluisma, the OIC-CAAP which was interviewed by Lorenzo Luzon of TV Patrol Northern Mindanao yesterday.
The night flights were cancelled for the past few days after a lightning damaged the Runway Threshold Identifier Lights (RTIL) of Lumbia Airport. Mr. Lluisma said that the RTIL was brought to Manila to be fixed. And now, its back at Lumbia Airport and were successfully installed. Night flights are expected to resume.
